Betty (Watkins) Hillard Obituary

 Betty (Watkins) Hillard was born October 21, 1935, in Owen County, KY and she entered into Heaven on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, along with her sister, Eva Eliene Watkins Mulberry, at the age of 89. She was the daughter of the late Claud & Sylvia (Vance) Watkins.

Betty is survived by two children, Robin Sanders and Stephen E. Hillard both of Lexington. She was blessed with two grand-children, Dwight L. Sanders and Fallon N. Bradley and by four great-granddaughters, Essence J. Corbin, Arianna S. Bradley, Kadence A. Sanders and Kamaiyah A. Sanders. Other survivors include a brother, James Watkins of Winchester and a sister Wilma Watkins Sargent of Williamstown.

 In addition to her parents, Betty was also preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Hillard, by her son, Mark Alan Hillard and by her sister, Eva Eliene Watkins Mulberry.

 Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, April 17, 2025 at the Hellard Cemetery on Lodge Hall Rd, McKee, with Rev. Jeff Sargent conducting the services. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. www.lakesfuneralhomemckee.com
