Mike Peters Obituary

Mike Peters was born November 29, 1954, in Laurel County and departed this life Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington, at the age of 70. He was the son of the late William Peters and Bonnie (Boggs) Peters.

He was survived by a daughter, Tonya Hurst of Louisville and by two grandchildren, Breann (Tyler) Robinson and Maddox Cooke, along with a great grandson on the way, Wyatt Scott Robinson. He is also survived by a brother, Bobby (Vickie) Peters of Annville; by four sisters, Janie Frye of Rushville, IN, Ruth (Marvin) Parker of McKee, Ruby Baker of London, Jill Johnson of Annville and by his sister-in-law Rhonda Peters of Annville. Other survivors include his significate other, Brenda (Flannery) Johnson of Annville and by her daughter Candi Welch of Annville.
In addition to his parents, Mike was also preceded in death by the following siblings, Jack Lee Peters, Billy Joe Peters, Arnold Peters, Cecil Ray Peters, Peggy Tyree and Dolly Cox.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 2, 2025, 2:00 PM at Lakes Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Peters Cemetery. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
