Mafrie Ellen Miller Obituary

Mafrie Ellen Miller was born February 6, 1938, and departed this life on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at the age of 87. She was the daughter of the late Mose & China (Harrison) Johnson.

 Mafrie is survived by one daughter, Tammie L. Miller Johnson. She was blessed with four grandchildren, Brian (Ginger) Miller, Crystal (Evan) Brashear, Lyndsey Hurst and Luke Hurst; by six great-grandchildren, Christian, Blaine (Chloe), Carson, Brayden, Parker & Harper and by one great-great-grandson, Kane.

 In addition to her parents, Mafrie was also preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Rex E. Miller. Also, by one son, Richard E. Miller, by one daughter, Valerie Miller Hurst and by one brother, Floyd Johnson.

 Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Gerald Maupin conducting the service. Burial will follow in the T.M. Lakes Cemetery. Pallbearers: Brian Miller, Evan Brashear, Luke Hurst, Blaine Miller, Carson Miller, Brayden Hurst and Parker Hurst. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. www.lakesfuneralhomemckee.com
