Snowie Mae Isaacs Obituary

Snowie Mae Isaacs was born October 1, 1944 in Jackson County and departed this life Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at the Baptist Health Hospital in Richmond at the age 80. She was the daughter of the late Rufford & Annie (Wolfinbarger) Fowler.
Snowie is survived by three children, Brenda (Mike) McKinney of McKee, Bert (Kim) Isaacs of McKee and Linda (Don) Powell of Sand Gap. She is also survived by a brother, Lester Fowler of McKee. She was blessed with five grandchildren, Michelle Welch, Alicia Maupin, Derick Maupin, Rachel Sturgill and Timothy Isaacs and by five great grandchildren, Noah Welch, Leela Hurst, Jace Hurst, Jackson Sturgill and Carson Cheeks. She was also blessed with a very special caregiver who she loved like her own family, Donna Montgomery and a very special niece, Creda Sparks.
In addition to her parents, Snowie was also preceded in death by her husband, Berlin Isaacs; by a son, Jason Isaacs; by a sister, Estelle Isaacs and by six brothers, Earl, Sherman, Chester, Ernest, Johnny and Carter G. Fowler.
Graveside services will be open to the public, 4:00 PM Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at the Russell Flat Cemetery with Bro. Mike McKinney officiating. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. www.lakesfuneralhomemckee.com
